Challenge data
The SemStats 2016 data challenge is about statistical classifications. Statistical classifications are very important statistical metadata, because they form a highly organized global taxonomy of statistical concepts and because they are related by formal correspondences, which allows to link together data sets that use different classifications.

Authors are free to chose the theme of their contribution as long as it uses the data provided, but one can find below a list of suggestions:

Submissions
See the main Call for Contributions page for details on the challenge submissions and on the submission process and deadline. Challenge articles should be no longer than 12 pages. The challenge data can also be used as a basis for the realization of application and demo articles (up to 6 pages). Remember that these two categories of submissions are awarded specific prizes!
